The Sierra de Grazalema has some of the most important colonies of vultures in Spain and in Europe. This is a unique scenery full of greenery, massifs, mountains, and nature. Lion vultures, Egyptian vultures... are part of it fauna, in a mountain whose composition is made of high rocks, cliffs, caves, and forest.
If you will be spending your holiday in Grazalema, be sure to see the Parque Natural de Grazalema, one of the biggest Spanish fir forests in the world, with an extention superior to 300 hectares. The Spanish firs today can only be found in Grazalema, in the north of Morocco, and in the Sierra de las Nieves, in Malaga.
This is a natural reserve, which means access is restricted during the entire year, especially in the Sierra del Pinar, catagorized as a Reserva Integral. |
